Situated on the first floor, De Lys has a beautiful William Morris-style print wallpaper, making it one of the more unusual rooms of the house. Accessible from the main stair and the incarnadine stair, it’s easy to slip away for a moment to ponder the mysteries of the house from the comfort of the sofa, or take a rest on the lushly curtained double bed.

The masks of Barons or Baronesses de Lys are provided with the room, by your sponsor The Endeavour Club. Although they have a reputation for snobbery (largely due to the fact that many of their members are snobs), the Endeavour club is the oldest and most traditional  of the sponsors. Currently, they focus on funding for education and research initiatives, though they have changed much over the years. Their only true constants are their bravery, their determination, and their ingenuity. And their snobbery.
